BEAUTY NEWBIES: MAC13/01/2015
Face and body foundation is what I use on the majority of my jobs/shoots as it compliments pretty much any skin tone if combined with the correct products, powder ect. It's extremely lightweight and with a fairly light coverage it just leaves your skin looking like your skin but better. The finish is very natural looking compared other mac foundations and that is why it's my favourite. Although the coverage isn't too heavy, I always just go in with concealer to cover up any areas that I feel need a little more coverage. This is a perfect foundation for summer, leaving your skin looking dewy and fresh. Not to mention you can use it all over your body to even out skin tone as well!
My latest lipstick addition is honey love and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I ended up ordering this one as the lipstick I originally ordered was out of stock. Of course I opted for a matte finish, and this is a really gorgeous coral toned nude and a must have for this season with the whole 'nude 'trend' going on at the moment.
I pop a little blob onto the back of my hand and stipple into my skin with my stippling brush for best results A little goes a long way and leaves a flawless finish when used over the top of my prep and prime highlighters.
I am a newbie to this product but really impressed with the long lasting hold this gives to the brows. I opted for clear but they also come in a range of colours to suit your brows and fill in any sparse areas to make your brows look naturally fuller.
Paint pots are a real must have for your makeup bag, and the perfect product for super quick eye look if you don't have much time to spare. Available in a variety of different shades, but bare study is a beautiful champagne shimmery shade that that looks gorgeous on it's own, or alternatively a great base for the eyes to the build upon with eye shadow. A few of my favourites that I 100% recommend include constructavist, groundwork and painterly.
