REVIEW ROUND UP30/04/2015
I've been reaching for lightscapade so much lately as it's the perfect pearly highlighter which I usually prefer over the pink toned. No glitter or shimmer involved, just the perfect dewy glow to add to your skin for an all day long sheen.
REAL TECHNIQUES CONTOUR BRUSH (CORE COLLECTION) £20.99
A couple of years back I took this brush on a night out and lost it (don't take your fave brushes on nights out people!) and I have only JUST repurchased it and goodness knows how I went this long without it. It is just the perfect size to use in the hollows of the cheekbones for an amazing contour and it's pointed end makes highlighting so much easier.
SMASHBOX FULL EXPOSURE MASCARA £19
I'm usually all for the thicker the better when it comes to mascara and although this wasn't very thickening it is probably one of the best mascaras I have used for amazing lash separation. If you are all for futtery lashes then this is definately worth a try and you can always go over the top with a voluminising mascara if you want the best of both!
BUMBLE AND BUMBLE PRET-A-POWDER £21.50
For a quick hair fix I sprinkle pret-a-powder into my hair to add volume and let it act as a dry shampoo for those greasy hair days when you're in a rush and have no time to jump in the shower.
LAURA MERCIER EYE BASICS 'LINEN' £21
Since living in a hot climate, priming my eyes has become essential to allow my eye makeup to stay in place as oppose to sliding off my face in thirty minutes. I have a few of these Laura Mercier eye primers but use this one matches my skin tone best at the moment and is a light creamy consistency that I pat onto my lids with my ring finger. The shade is very similar to MAC painterly pain pot and gives a nice natural finsh if worn alone but is also the perfect base for applying shadow over the top.
